A ring a ding ding...

When I was younger I used to love wearing rings, partly because I thought it was the only jewellery that I had that made me feel grown up.  All the women in my family were married so of course my mum and my nanna and my aunts would all wear wedding rings.  Being a kid you always want to be more grown up so I would often wear rings on my ring finger so I could be just like them.

As I've grown older I have thankfully got out of this habit but do look forward to being the recipient of an engagement ring sometime in the future. (far off future) However when it comes to rings I couldn't be any more boring and I think park of it comes from the fact that I don't actually like wearing rings.  I find them annoying after a while and throughout the day I will 9 times out of 10 take it off usually lose it.

So after losing many rings and not wearing them that much I have a rather small collection of which I only really tend to wear one.  That is the ring that my parents bought for me as a 16th birthday gift.
I still find that annoying as I often get it caught in my hair which results in a pain, and less hair on my head.

I will wear my other rings but not that often and mostly only on a night out.  However, all that being said I actually really like rings.  If ever I'm in a jewellery shop I will always look at rings and earrings, I just think they're really pretty.  I just love the picture at the top of this post and the rings that Faye is wearing in the pictures below.
